No matter how many different parks and gardens I go to around the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges, the Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens remains one of my favourite locations for photography.
I went up there this afternoon, hoping to capture the quaint boathouse amongst a colour blast of autumn leaves and trees. Sadly, the boathouse itself was surrounded by lush greenery… all the colours of autumn were at the opposite end of the lake. Not to worry though – I came home with this little gem.
