Hi, my name is Jason and I have been taking photos as a hobby for over 25 years.

I started out with a very old Kodak camera. It was very much a point a shoot with some manual adjustments required. I then moved to a Zenith SLR (fully manual camera). Then onto a Canon 500n (I think).

The SLR was then placed in the cupboard to collect dust to try the new phenomenon, digital photography. I started with a Kodak, out grew that, moved to a Samsung. Which conveniently passed away the day before taking my daughters to Movie World. So raced down to the local Harvey Norman and purchased a Canon S3IS. Which I still have.

As a 40th birthday present I convinced the wife to buy me a Canon 450D. This allowed me to use the extra gear I purchased with the original SLR. It has given me a renewed interest in taking photos. it has also given me a whole different perspective on taking photos. None of the point and shoot 2D looking photos anymore.

Thankyou for looking at my photos and please feel free to comment, be it positive and/or constructive. I am still learning and still looking for that perfect photo (if there is such a thing).
