This is a double-portrait drawing of my good friend Paulo. Paulo started talking to me while I was doing a drawing in the Louvre in Paris, and we quickly became fast friends. Like me he’s very ambitious and hopes to make a strong positive impact on the world. He aspires to be a Diplomat for Brazil, his home country.

The original drawing is charcoal on tone paper and is not for sale.

I’ve always needed a creative outlet and have enjoyed drawing my entire life. About three years ago, inspired by the advice of other artists, I began creating art on a daily basis. That was a huge step for my work, which started improving dramatically. I got into studying classical realist approaches two years ago, and have been very fortunate to meet a nurturing community of fantastic painters. I’m indebted to many artists, writers, and musicians whose work has moved me to become an artist.
