The Girls of Deadly are the Naked
This is one of a series of illustrations I did for the first EP of the band “Deadly are the Naked”. The brief was inspired by 50s pin-ups/femme fatales, referring to the work of Gil Elvgren, Edward Runci, Alberto Vargas, George Petty etc. Only two illustrations ended up in the EP but I did a heap of sketches which I’ve decided to make into finished pieces and present them here on Red Bubble in a little section I like to call “The Girls of Deadly are the Naked”.
