Gracias Ghelly, tus palabras siempre animan! Que bueno es poder pertenecer a RB y a un grupo como el de Venezuela; donde podemos compartir intercambiar criticas constructivas de nuestros trabajos y desarrollar amistades con otros artistas que comparten la misma pasion, es gracias a comunidades como esta y Deviant Art que mi fotografia ha llegado al nivel que esta. Sin duda aun hay mucho que aprender y mucho camino por recorrer y me alegra poder hacerlo junto a un maravilloso grupo de amigos y colegas en linea =D

Thanks Ghelly, your words are always encouraging! It really is great to be able to belong to a great comunity like RB and the wonderful Venezuela group, where we can share and provide constructive critique on each others work, as well as make friends and meet others who share the same passion. It is in great part due to comunities like RB and Deviant Art that my photography has reached the level it has. There is nonetheless much to learn and a long way to go yet, and I am glad I can do so along a great group of friends and coleagues on line =D

Thanks Isa, I am glad it was able to evoke emotion, when I took it, I was filled with emotions and am glad I was able to convey some of it into the photo. I only hope it will also stir other people into action and I feel that I, as a nature and landscape photographer, must do something to help instill a concience and a care for the environment into the people of my country before it is too late. As it is already, we have lost so much, and the problem is getting worse, the kind of scene depicted in my photo would not have happened 3 or 4 years ago.

Pues aqui solo tengo las fotos que estoy dispuesto a vender, de lo contrario no la coloco, ademas que tengo mucho mas tiempo en DA que aca, asi que hay muchas fotos que estan all que no tengo aca. pero vere a ver si la subo de todos modos

Creo que ya no debe estar, solo era durante el mes de Abril… Y si, es una verdadera lastima que la foto de cochinadas ganó, sin embargo creo que la idea del concurso es proyectar imagenes que impactan profundamente la conciencia de las personas para empezar a cuidar nuestro ambiente, y creo que esa imagen hace justamente eso.

Thanks! I believe it’s no longer there, it was on display during the month of april only. Yes it is a shame that a photo of trash on a beach won, but I believe the goal of the contest was to have a powerful impact on the people and get them to start caring for the environment, and I believe that is exactly what that image does.
