The Water's Edge

IR image of the trees at the edge of Tonina Lake in Llovizna Park. I really liked the dead branches among the lush vegetation. The leaves reflect a lot of infrared while the branches reflect very little creating interesting contrast. The tone in the sky is the result of the manual white balance setting used to take the image.
Shot at f/11, 8 sec exposure. Cokin P007 IR filter.
RAW capture processed in Lightroom 2, Manual WB set in camera with slight final adjustment in RAW processing, contrast adjustment and sharpening in Photoshop CS4

Imagen infraroja de los arboles al borde de la Laguna de la Tonina en el Parque la Llovizna. Me gusto mucho las ramas muertas entre las vivas. Las hojas vivas reflejar mucha luz infraroja, mientras que las ramas muertas no la reflejan, creando asi un interesante contraste. El tono del cielo es el resultado de un ajuste manual del balance de blancos.
