There are two large rock formations here. The rock in the background is about 25m tall at it’s peak, but hard to get the feel for it with no reference.A long exposure taken after sunset on the Mornington Peninsula.

This is beautiful Jared. Were you on a boat? If so you were very lucky the water was so still with such a long exposure. Well done!!
thanks Di.No I wasn’t on a boat, this was taken out on this rock shelf. At that particular tide, it was about ankle to knee deep water, depending on whether a wave came in.
Great shot Jared love the slight water movement caught with the long exposure
Beautifully composed Jared, love the B/G sky!
Nice work Jazz, love the sky!
well done Jared.Stunning light
It really does look like a ghost ship, it is a beautiful image.Well done.
Nice work Jared :)
Wonderful light and colour Jared :-))
Just be careful out there Jared. I have a vivid recollection of a 20-minute struggle (seemed like hours), further down toward Cape Schank, when I picked the wrong tide to go snorkelling. Could not get back in against the water flowing off the shelf. And of being knocked over by a wave that came up out of nowhere, about 1.5m higher than anything else on the day. So take care – would hate to lose a photographic talent like yours.
this is beautiful!!! Good work
