And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

(Revelation 6)

The right rock has been illuminated by the rising full moon.
The left rock had me baffled for a while…and realised it was the red LED from my wireless shutter ~ thought I’d roll with it and it gave me a good idea for the title.

Well done Jared. The colour contrast in the rocks works well. Who would have thought a LED would do this. I like how you have chosen to d the stars through the rocks. Different perspective.

Awsome photo Jared! Obviously my LED wasn’t as close to the rocks as yours – I only got a slight glow on one part of the rock.
