Australians must be more tolerant than the Scots. If you try snapping people in the street here, someone may take you camera and reinsert it into a more inaccessible place making it very difficult to sit down – hehehe

The only people who wear kilts in Scotland, are:
1. A very small number of diehards, who do it “just because”.
2. People making a living from the tourists, “Pipers”, “Tour Guides”, etc.
3. Americans who think they are connecting with there roots. Their roots are usually Central European, but what the hey, we will sell tartan to anyone with money.
4. Scottish National football team supporters, especially when playing against the English, Welsh, or Irish, actually anyone will do.
Thankfully, Australians seem to have more sense and despite the fact that every second barperson in the pubs in Scotland are from Australia, very few of them feel the need to wear a kilt.
