A good way to get wet….stand on a rock shelf at Spray Point…it certainly lives up to it’s name !

It does indeed have an aptly named title (and see you can put your record collection to one side when titling this piece of artwork).

The shot itself Jared, is stunning. The timing in capture of the spray whilst still using the magic 1/2 second to get some blur in the water movement is bang on the nose. The clouds and well lit (from what you can see behind the incoming water) too.

yep, sure did Barry…well kinda…nothing a cloth couldn’t fix up… :-)
but the spray on the lens…boy, i’ve never wiped my lens as much as I did down there.

gear was ok…i just grabbed it as soon as I heard the mirror drop and put myself between it and the wave. Just got a lot of spray, but all fine. :)

Looks like a fabulous place to shoot Jared, judging by the link you posted. Are they dirt roads that lead to the beach?
Such an awesome shot, but I made the mistake of enlarging it and got salt spray all over my glasses, dammit!

it was Magee, just awesome scenery and nature at its best !
they are dirt paths that lead to the beach, about a 10min walk (or 5 min jog with equipment on the way back in the dark :)
