Watching my works it is easy to understand Japan had influenced my art a lot. Probably Japu would not exist if I wouldn’t have known japanese art.

Because of this spiritual link, I can’t be unmoved by this terrible tragedy this country is living, so I decided to give back what Japan gave to me: all the earning coming from this design will be given to Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund – a GlobalGiving Project.

For this work I decided to go back in the past, when the magic began: when I was a child I was a very big japanese robots fan; Mazinger, Goldrake, Jeeg
and Daitarn III filled those adventures that are so easy to make when you’re a child. The design is inspired by my favourite robot, Daitarn III, who,
it’s curious, has the solar energy as its most powerful weapon to destroy the evil and of course he never gives up even in the worst moment.

Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund – a GlobalGiving Project

GlobalGiving supports grassroots projects around the world. This project will disburse funds to organizations providing relief and emergency services to victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. GlobalGiving is working with International Medical Corps, Save the Children, and other organizations on the ground to provide relief to victims.
