Ingenious idea of making parts of the design transparent to show through the shirt colour, but I’m not sure how it would print though. I might raise this question in the RB forums.

  • I guess the stamp will be good, RB t-shirt Tutorial suggests the using of trasparence :)

I hope you’re right as it opens up a lot of possibilities for designs, but RB refer to 100% transparency not partial.

  • Well, as you can see in the tutorial, t-shirt example 3 (Ivy Izzard) has a gradient trasparency and the result is quite good, I’m using a single trasparency, so I hope the result will be better, but I admit that I’ve never seen one of these t-shirt printed, who bought them should post some photos, please? :)

Sorry to persist with this, but if you go to Ivy’s shirt entry in her profile, change the colours to see where the partial transparent areas are and compare it to her photo of the printed shirt, you’ll notice that the areas that were intended to be transparent colour have been completely ignored in the printing process.

btw I didn’t want to clutter up your comment section with this discussion, so feel free to delete these comments and we can continue it by Bubblemail, if you wish.
