Chris Wahl, about 1 month ago
Ingenious idea of making parts of the design transparent to show through the shirt colour, but I’m not sure how it would print though. I might raise this question in the RB forums.
japu in reply to Chris Wahl’s comment, about 1 month ago
I guess the stamp will be good, RB t-shirt Tutorial suggests the using of trasparence :)
Chris Wahl, about 1 month ago
I hope you’re right as it opens up a lot of possibilities for designs, but RB refer to 100% transparency not partial.
japu in reply to Chris Wahl’s comment, about 1 month ago
Well, as you can see in the tutorial, t-shirt example 3 (Ivy Izzard) has a gradient trasparency and the result is quite good, I’m using a single trasparency, so I hope the result will be better, but I admit that I’ve never seen one of these t-shirt printed, who bought them should post some photos, please? :)
Chris Wahl, about 1 month ago
Sorry to persist with this, but if you go to Ivy’s shirt entry in her profile, change the colours to see where the partial transparent areas are and compare it to her photo of the printed shirt, you’ll notice that the areas that were intended to be transparent colour have been completely ignored in the printing process.
btw I didn’t want to clutter up your comment section with this discussion, so feel free to delete these comments and we can continue it by Bubblemail, if you wish.

ahhh, what’s the deal with the shadow? i’ve got this sitting in my cart, and i noticed it just now
japu in reply to thickblackoutline’s comment, 23 days ago
Yeah, well, it’s a today new version, I always though that the image was too flat in the middle of the tee and that its color can’t be too dark for the black border of the drawing, so I added the white border and a prospective shadow to give some depth. What do you think? Come’s up come’s down? (I heard this last sentece in a movie and I always wanted to say it someday! XD)

i love the white outline, i’m going to get it soon on cranberry. but i’m not really feeling that shadow….. maybe if it was darker?? tell you what would rule, and that’s if you had those parts which used to be transparent (remember that? i was thinking about that the other day believe it or not) make them totally see through, so the colour of the tee is the colour of that area…...but hey, that’s just me ;)
japu in reply to thickblackoutline’s comment, 23 days ago
I wasn’t pretty sure about the shadow (it’s a spirit, can’t cast shadow! :D), and now that you have doubt too… I think I’ll erase it. If it could be made partial transparent, it would be better, but… it can’t.

how about if you filled it with some fine dots….?

you’ll have to zoom in on chris’ tee to see….... what do you think??
japu in reply to thickblackoutline’s comment, 23 days ago
I think in this case will be too confuse, it’s better remove the shadow
