I am a young lady who has Spina Bifida,which is a birth defect that can affect the brain stem and spinal column. I am so blessed in life. I graduated from Carencro High School in 2002 and plan to continue my college education-when God’s grace is on it to do so. God has been so gracious and merciful. My parents are my inspiration. Dad suffered a severe spinal cord injury a few years ago. He is doing so much better and inspires me everyday. Mom is a great encourager for me as well. The moral of my story is: It truly is more blessed to give than to receive. May God bless you.
