Cute. No, after living in New Orleans for five years, I had to give up the other glass; haven’t had a drop in 22 years. Nothing but a walk to smooth out the rough edges these days.
JacquiK
Lovely work Jan
Lenka
Very pleasant composition and warm colour :)
OldBirch
Very nice shot, Jan. And love both the titles!
Jan Timmons replied
You didn’t fail me. I thought you’d catch the title. I think others think I erred, and are too polite to correct me. Ideas for a better title?

No, it’s a great title. I like the original one you had, with “leave” even better. More subtle. Goes well with these beautiful colours.
Jan Timmons replied
Nothing gets past your keen eyes. Okay, back it goes. I preferred it, too.
Jan Timmons replied
Thank you.

Jan you are pumping out some wonderful images – * Congratulations * on your feature. B-)))
nadine henley
lovely golden hues, jan – and cngrats on the feature. What’s the new glass?
Jan Timmons replied
Just that 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor lens, Nadine. It results from your report
after your conference. You wrote about what lens the four men would want. It’s fun to use a prime lens for a change and play with dof.
Harry Oldmeadow
The title is very apposite…and great use of the new lens.

New leaves don’t come because old leaves are falling.
Old leaves fall because new leaves are coming.
Actually I like the title. Stirs up old memories of all the past falls floating in my head.
