Jan, this is so pretty! The colours are eyecatching, and the composition, dof and the light on the water droplets are lovely. Really nice shot!
Jan Timmons replied
What a great comment, C! Thank you. Somewhere there’s a mountain behind these purple things.
Richard Stanley
Lovely shot Jan – love the dof and the colours. Aahh… the trusty old D70 eh?
Jan Timmons replied
Yes, even with the camera’s “raincoat”, that D70 gets to endure the tough weather. Well, except for last weekend, but we really didn’t expect snow and fog in the mountains. (Some of us didn’t drop our D70s in a creek – was it a creek?)
Marilyn Harris
So very beautiful! x :o)
Jan Timmons replied
You’re so kind, blossom.

Jan Timmons replied
Hi Bean. Yes, some sort of pine – I’d never seen a purple cone, either. Perhaps affected by the wind and altitude? Thanks for your kind comment.
