Ice Castle© by jansnow

Another great find in Pleasant Grove, Utah today! Brent Christensen has made this beautiful ice castle out of snow, ice and water – NO substructure. As of today, I would say the ice castle is about 25 feet high and has an ice slide, and an igloo built into it. He began making this castle about four weeks ago and is continuing construction each day. If you want to know how to build an ice castle you can go to Tom’s web site www.flyingwrench.com, he has a video you can watch to see how it’s done.

how fantastic is that. Sadly it never gets cold enough here (my home) to build such a statue.

We celebrate when we get a snowflake. hahahaha

  • Hi CJ! It’s been really cold here, and lots of gorgeous snow! I was quite impressed with this beautiful castle!

Fantastic image Jan! I wished I could see the igloo and slide. I agree this does look like Superman’s fortress.

  • I have listed the web site in the photo description. You should be able to click his like to the video, it will show the igloo and how he did it all:-)
