Jan, we’re running a race behind you if this is digital. The crackling of the “paint” is wonderful. The control over color is also mastery. I get tired of seeing engineers using every color in their palettes just because they can. To see something this restrained where the color emphasizes the textures is pure joy.

I have a weakness for blackbirds. Their feathers reflect so much. I love how you played off the reflection on this bird with the subtle green light. The feathers “pop” without being overdone.

Excellent. What people don’t realize is that there is no “magic” with digital stuff. It takes just as long to do GOOD stuff, but maybe not as long to do cheezy stuff. Here is my hand to you for the hours peering at pixels.

I know Robert Venosa. He said that he’s spent most of his live ten centimeters from a canvass with a 001 brush. Same thing.
