  • RollemFloyd

    RollemFloyd

Wonderful capture Jan! I love the sepia-like tones and and the highlights before and after the boat. The sky appears identical to a sepia wet-wash. And is it just me or does the boat appear “out of scale”?; yet another enigma of an engaging photograph.

  • Jan Piller replied

The photogrpah is what it is – so the boat can’t be out of scale. I have never been on that boat but one of these days I will leave the camera at home and try it out!

  • Anibal

    Anibal

WOW… I have never seen this one.. you are amazing Jan….

  • Jan Piller replied

Thank you Anibal. A fellow tried to kill himself here two days ago. He jumped in over the falls. Only three people have ever survived that fall in all of recorded history. He refused to be rescued and kept swimming away from shore after he landed at the bottom. So the helicopter used it’s rotors to create a huge wind that pushed him to shore where rescuers could get him.
