No trouble sleeping here. I was very interested to read your interview, Jan, and I learned a lot about your work.
*I personally use color for the purpose of empowerment. To
create the atmosphere of an artwork and not just for the sake
of “color-beauty”,“ which means I experiment with it as long
as I need until I reach the dramatic effect I want for that
particular work. For me color is a tool and a servant of
atmosphere not the main issue so to speak, but an important
one.*
I really liked the above quote because I see it working in your images. I wish you such good luck with your exhibition next year, my friend :)
