In the beautiful town of Victor Harbour in South Australia there is a tourist attraction that has been around for as long as I can remember. There are several draught horses used for this carriage and every hour on the hour, tourists can ride on the carriage and cross over to Granite Island via a causeway. It cost $10 for the ride and it is a fair way to travel. The draught horses are much loved and cared for by their owners. They know what to do, without the drivers or owners telling them as they have done this job for the people for many years. It is a wonderful thing to see, and many people take photos of this magical carriage and its beloved horses.
