Adelaide Gaol, in South Australia. An historic building open to the public. My father helping me out here as my model for the day.
This is one of the cells that many a prisoner spent his life inside, cold and dreary concrete walls and floor.
I captured the sunlight coming through the tiny window to the outside and when I uploaded the photo to my computer I discoverd that the light was actually shining on my fathers back too..which was a little different!
The gaol is an amazing place to visit and it holds so much history. Was built in the 1800’s and still stands so proudly today with its massive high walls of stone and watch houses dotted around the area.
This is a colour version of a sepia toned image I have here on my portfolio as well, but the model in the image is posing differently.
