Underground Geelong with Reg Lyons as my guide. A great little afternoon’s adventure of VERY wet legs, lol, spooky dark tunnels and lots of fun with some sparklers. Thanks so much Reg :o) especially for the beer!

In this particular spot, there are a lot of messages from past travellers to this drain. The drain has been “painted” with light from a torch.

Nice work Jane. You’ll have to keep coming for more practice! :) Whats with the tags: “smelly, spooky and scary” :D

  • LMFAO, I hoped you wouldn’t see those!! Ha, I’m still laughing… I will definitely come for more practice, now that I have seen them on full screen, I know much more of the whats and whys so I want to try again! PS, I wasn’t referring to you at least!

Wow – this is really increadible. Must’ve been a bit scary. Was it completely dark down there?
There are some excellent shafts of light on the roof….yes I’m sure you did get wet feet! Woth it though with this image.

  • Totally dark without the torches, so I’m glad the batteries lasted! Those light shafts were created with the torch light, just running it back and forth along the bricks. Because of the long exposure, I don’t show up in this picture but I was running around with the torch, lol.

how scarry was that little trip…great shot though :)) k

  • The start was the worst bit, when I was one full leg in drain water, lol. EW! But I got used to it quickly and it was more exciting than anything, especially playing with the lights and then running back to view the camera display to see how it turned out! Popping out of a drain beside a busy Geelong road was funny too :o)
