JANICE SCHULZ

Photographer/Producer currently working in Chicago. Graduated with a degree in Art & Design from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA.

My career started as of all things a Photo assistant at Playboy Studio West in Santa Monica. Since then I have dabbled in many different areas of the photography industry, from Studio Manager, Production Coordinator, to Photo Rep and finally to Producer. I am lucky to get to work on set almost every day but miss shooting for myself.

My first camera was a Minolta 3xi. My favorite camera was my Hasselbald, which I sold when my dog Cali Girl got Cancer… But last year I bought the Canon XTi, and I started shooting again. This year my goal is the Canon 1DS Mark II. …if I can actually sell some of my work to pay for it, that is…
