Beautiful Jan. I love this Bush Track as you call it. Love the redish tint of the dirt and love the clouds and vegitation in the distance. Love those white little wild flowers too. Sure is beautiful country in my humble opinion. Ed
Jan Fijolek replied
Thank you Ed, the red colour is from minerals in the soil, a lot of iron here. In few months you won’t see flowers anymore, only red soil ;)
Paul Thompson ...
Great shot

Thank you Paul ;)
Di Davies

Jan Fijolek replied
Thank you very much Di, this is an amazing country especially out of the cities ;))
David Lewins LRPS
The red earth is truly fantastic and contrasts well with the sky in strong bold colours. “half a milion acres of wildflowers” is certainly something to think about, I’d be torn between my wide angle and the macro lens! ;-)
Jan Fijolek replied
I used wide, it was small wind on the day so find it difficult to focus on individual flowers but “carpets” of flowers and different colours were also attractive targets, thank you David ;)
Charuhas Images
Wonderful colors. Great shot.
Jan Fijolek replied
These earth colours are natural in Australian outback, lots of minerals, thank you ;)

Wonderful leading lines, Jan, and perspective. Love the red, warm hues of the soil – sandstone?
Jan Fijolek replied 15 days ago
Thank you Jan, the sand’s red colour is apparently from the minerals it contains. Australia has vast iron resources. ;)
