Blue Lake
This is a view from Peninsula Hill on Wakatipu Lake, Queenstown, Otago New Zealand. The water colour is affected by glaciers residue.
It was beautiful view, majestic mountains, small clouds and the colour of the water matching almost the colour of the sky. I couldn’t resist the temptation to freeze that moment in the time ;)

I rode around this lake on my old Vincent motorbike about 15 years ago and as you say it is incredibly beautiful.
This is a fantastic capture in every respect.

Well, you have chances to see some snow. It is beautiful country, if you are going to any of the sounds (Milford or Doubtful) that is the best time for mountain reflections, be aware and prepared ;)))
