Rubber Duckie Reflections by Janet Rogerson

Currently unavailable for purchase

Hmmm, long story to explain how this image came about, suffice to say it was taken outside using a toaster, two chairs, fishing line, sticky tape, spray bottle and a rubber duck! But it was done purely “in camera”, no Photoshop tricks.

This is one of the most amazing shots I have seen I think I first saw it a a talk you did at the GCC. I love the colour, contrast & light. I especially like the reflections in the water droplets. Well done a superb image

A very original “take” on the rubber duck theme Janet. Very cool photo.

  • Thanks Peter. My Dad caught me in the middle of “setup” outside and I’m sure he thought I was crazy!

This is just wonderful Janet. I love the little ‘ducklettes’ in the pools of water, very cool.
Back in ’04, I made a similar image which I was quite proud of at the time, I’m sure you were very pleased with your result with the duck (: Well done.

  • Thanks Peter. Hey yeah, your coke pic is cool. The ducks have been around for a while too but they make a good talking point.
