My Father

Janet Ellen Lusk

My Father

Dad was in The United States Air Force and stayed in after active duty for twenty years after as a reservist. He taught during his reserve time how to protect yourself from chemical warfare. He retired as a Colonial. Harry Truman saved his life he believes as he was on his way to Japan when the Atomic bombs were dropped. I was born in Coral Gables, Florida, USA and we traveled with him to his assignments in Texas and California, until he left for overseas to Japan. Mom and I then stayed with her mother, my grandmother, until his return.

This photo was restored. Dad will be ninety-two years old this coming February.

My Father belongs to the following groups:

Days Gone By (Photographs must be twenty years or older and include people please) and Safe Haven Available for sale as

Greeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters
