Legacy
How we create our own reality with our thoughts and actions and how for every positive or negative action there is a reaction. I hope you enjoy. x
Legacy belongs to the following groups:
Lifeline, The Healing Journey and Vibration in Art and Verse - VAVoom!Tempered by my own will
I steer my self built galleon
Through storms and balmy weather
Aware of my own creative power
The wind blows a ‘No Blame’ song
I carefully log my thought patterns
A round house kick in paradise
I’ve had them from the shadows
Thinking can be dangerous
I steer away from murky shallows
I sift my thoughts like castor sugar
A helping hand out to my brother
Observe the pattern of my need
See how freely it is given
All I think that I so need and desire
I should not forget my deeds today
Keep just my own skin from the fire
Sometimes I have had to wait
Some call her ‘Fate’ but she is real
And beautifully will she deliver
Her arrival at times a little late
And just as forgetfulness sets in
She flounces in with yesterday
And I will have to dance again
With all my love or all my hate
With all that I created then
The legacy I freely make

Fate with wings, always close by…...I agree with Jen, such a gorgeous flow to this. Amazing how sometimes words just put themselves down of their own free will….......
Really like this one Jane xxx
JaneSolomon replied
Yes, it always fascinates me…...the sheer changeability of it all. Thanks Trace. xxx

I’m always a sucker for a sailing metaphor. Your writing has a natural flow as the trade winds of thought push you in the jet stream of imagination
JaneSolomon replied
Ha! Imagination has a place. Thanks Tony. xxx

Reap what you sow, if only life really was like that…
Lovely poem Jane.
JaneSolomon replied
Well, we all have our own reality, our own truth and our own epiphanies….some see life as ‘I shall do whatever I damn well please and to hell with the rest’ and then blubber continuously about how life kicks them where it hurts every time….depending on where you are in your personal journey, growth or non any of it…..a personal choice. Thanks Matt. xxx

You really do have a wonderful way with words … they dance across the screen/paper … weaving intricate patterns and fabulous images … I particularly like “She flounces in with yesterday” ... it seems she/fate may have the personality of a teenager!?? ;o))
JaneSolomon replied
Haha! Great take on fate Lindsay. Thank you so much for being here! xx

“If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.”
