Some time in 2006 I wanted to post a photo of my garden on my blog. I asked my daughter to take a photo for me and she handed me her camera (a Canon PowerShot A520)... told me to do it myself, over-ruling my declarations that I was a disaster with a camera…. (she told me that cameras were different from when I was a young Mum).
So I did.
Enjoyed the results so much that I was given a Canon PowerShot A530 for Christmas 2006, then my husband decided that since I was so into this photography hobby I should have a Canon PowerShot S5IS for my birthday in February 2007.
So I’m an amateur and a beginner with no formal training – just read a few magazines and books and picked up some tips from around and about.
Constuctive criticism, tips and suggestions are most welcome (technical language would go right over my head!)
