I am very much a beginner when it comes to photography. I have always found ways to be creative since I was little, I started with writing, then onto drawing, painting, creating and eventually found my way to photography.
While I still use all those other outlets, Photography has become my main creative outlet. I have a beautiful daughter who really inspired my photography.. I wanted to capture every precious moment of her and photography allowed me to do this. Being a mum is a full time job at the moment and so finding time to learn more about my camera, learn the world of Photoshop etc is proving difficult so until I have more free time on my hands I am just doing what I can, when I can.. and LOVING it!
I struggle with insecurities and a lack of confidence but it’s something I’m working to overcome. When I first joined RedBubble one of the first pieces I uploaded was put on the homepage but then months later I deleted my account because I didn’t think my work was “good enough”.
My camera has been stuck in my cupboard for months as I have been hard at work with full time study and mum duties but I have found myself really missing it lately, so I have charged my battery and am looking forward to getting back into it over the Christmas break!
