Hey Janne, in the USA a tick is a kind of bug that embeds itself in your skin out in the woods… :) really hard to pull out and nasty looking. :)

EWE sorry never thought of it like that … we have em over here too, but if you give someone a big tick over here it means they got it right and did good, that they did extremely well, thats the sort of tick your work deserves… in fact a million of em! Love it!

Youll probably see no resemblance, but this makes me think of Norman Lindsay with so exquistite textures in the backgroundish areas. Its a real pleasure to look at your art.
