    Thank you! Well, I was entering a vintage contest and thought the Raggedy Ann doll and my daughter wearing her saddle shoes would be a great subject (classic retro). I tried all kinds of settings, outdoors and indoors and then it came to me when I had her sit at the piano. She was getting very tired and bored with it at that point (she’s only 5) and dropped the doll. As she started reaching for it, that’s when I knew I had the perfect shot and concept. It’s so cool how things like that happen! I have another from this series that I’ll post. I chose to leave her face out to give it that dark, eerie and mysterious feeling. Glad you like it!

    oh, jane this is gorgeous… i would have loved to have that in my daughter’s rooms when they were growing up… they have graduated from college now.. and not sure they would appreciate it right now…. maybe when i become a grandma!
