She didn’t understand why the woman was having such a hard time finding the money in her purse, and the line was long. She wanted this woman to hurry up, and on top of that she had a crying baby in the cart. The checker’s head started pounding with a headache. Then the woman just keeled over. The checker said, ‘oh my God’. People were quick to respond and were already on the woman trying to give her CPR. The checker quickly called an ambulance. Meanwhile the little baby had been pushed off to the side, and everyone was so caught up in the mother’s problems, that the baby had been forgotten. After of few minutes though the checker noticed, and went over to the baby and picked it up out of the cart and cuddled it. The baby stopped crying. The baby’s mother had died. They didn’t know what the cause of death was then but later they discovered that she had had a brain hemorrhage. They took the mother away in an ambulance and the police took the baby. The checker wanted to know where they were taking the baby, and they said to social services. The next day she the checker called social services and said she was interested in adopting the baby, and wanted to know if it was possible. They said yes. It was a long process, however she ended up gaining a wonderful son. His mother had named him Craig, she liked that name and kept it on his birth certificate, however she added Jonathon for herself. To her he would be Jonathon, which meant God has given; gift of God.

These shall inherit the kingdom of God because they choose to ‘possess’ its nature here upon this time..this place rather than to gather up ‘stores of self seeking pleasures. tjc :-)
