In the vegetable aisle he recognized her from the clinic work. He knew she was ill. She pondered the carrots. Approaching her he said ‘hi, carrots are my favorite.’ Recognizing him too, she had always thought how cute he was when she was checking in at the clinic. She knew that he knew, but that didn’t bother her that much. When you were as ill as she was, then you started to lose your ability to care about what people knew or didn’t know. He asked if she could put them in her refrigerator and come out to dinner with him. How sweet. She had been picked up a few times before in the past, but never in a grocery store. She gladly accepted. Anyhow she hadn’t much time left, she was alone. Maybe now she had a chance to be with someone on her way out…

That there isa ‘24 karot weight storie’! Empathy and sensitivity to meet another’s needs in a seeming ‘oblivious manner’. More affected would our society be as a whole if us men would be more in tune with reaching out in a responsive caring manner rather than ‘seeking vulnerability’ as deployable tool to manipulate -how deplorable -how ‘weak’ of our character. Much strength in meekness to minister ‘Grace’ upon another…Is it not too sad that we truly reach out in true strength when we appear at ou weaker moments – ravaged by disease and/or illness? tjc
”.......Comfort one another in this manner…..”

Kindness can be such a gift of love, especially when life becomes overwhelmingly difficult for another person. We all need people don’t we, and we all need to be loved and comforted. Thanks for your reading and sharing tommyjo, you always uplift and inspire me. Smiles from Jane.

Your depth in your writing has been greatly enhanced by your soul character. The physical, mental and emotinal scars are transformed from a stigma to a mark and touch of beauty by the One who bears deep riven scars on the outter limits of His four ‘limbs’. Is it not thus ‘my duty, my service in kind to reach out by the same members of my own form to speak ‘Grace’ in the very lives of the very ones He came to rescue from death’s kurse? If I do less than uplift and inspire,
what then, have I, cause to live these so brief years as a traveller across this globe? Would I dare to be so hedonistic – another narcisstic plague upon it’s face? Nay, I shall not so number my days but rather to be as His nature imparted to me to fulfill my service to you and others alike.
It is here that my life has meaning and purpose. With a God given smile o’ hope and compasion, go I !

Smiles in return…....Thomas Josiah Chappelle :-)

Story that can break a heart. Every person deserves a date and this woman more than needs someone to wrap his arms around her and let her know she is WOMAN. Wow, you capture the romance that many seek reguardless of a time span or not. What vivid imagination, or excuse me if I am out of line, experiences, no lack of respect here. You do such beautiful work that if say something that hurts your feelings, please understand that it was not meant to be that way. You keep putting so much greatTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT work that I can’t describe how it soothes the soul.
