throw away people…

the world is full of throw away people
I guess that is what life can be
very dog eat dog, hard, competitive
and sometimes ruthless

the human condition can be so cruel
people are capable of great evil
but we have a good side too, thank God
if it wasn’t for those who care
and help us when we have to much to bear
just think how empty the world would be
thank God for people who are givers and who care

sometimes people need to express their pain
those who listen to their condition
are giving of their time and hearts
it is not something that comes easily
the ability to feel another’s pain
it takes very special people…with special abilities
to understand the needs of people
who have been damaged or hurt in some way

thank you God, for those who care
it is not something that comes easily
it takes tremendous energy
for empathy, compassion, and understanding
it is a gift when someone can offer this
or even a listening ear
even if they don’t understand, they are willing to care

I so agree with this – and am very lucky I have special friends who listen and care about me.

    Hi Jane,

Another deep and intuitive reflection of society. One line you say about thank Gof for people who care reminds me of some massage therapists I have visited. They were so passionate about their job and I often would thanks God for providing people with the skill, passion and desire to heal with such love.

Yes. The art of healing includes touch, very much so. I have denied myself this part of being human for a long time, because other people have denied me this, and after a while you just give up, and then after enough time goes by, you actually forget. It is a long story Tony. But you are absolutely right, touch is part of healing too, and something human beings need. Thanks for your reading, your time, and your comments. Smiles from Jane.
