SPACES, PEOPLE AND TIME

This is about the movement of time, how we can’t escape its grasp, how quickly things really pass us by, how new time and new life reoccupy the vacated space, and how we all long to be able to relive moments of the past.

spaces where people are
existing is the making of a memoir
time goes by
in fact it flies
the people are still there
better or worse for the wear
-and time moves forward
it is our unrelenting steward

they existed, alive within
time went by
in fact it flies
the people have since left
and the space is bereft

a little bird told me the space was relinquished to Edward
the name of baby time, and all new creation spun earthward

Interesting that you speak of time. Only yesterday I was discussing time with a friend. We were questioning if time is real. I have seen sportsmen who seem to move outside of time and have heard of ballet dancers who seem to go into a different dimension whilst still on earth.

Personally I think time is eternal and that when we slow our minds enough that the panick of life stops. We have so been raised to believe in finality and scarcity. No wonder we are so pressuring of time. I for one am not sure about time and it’s truths but am trying to slow down so that I can actually feel and acknowledge in my mind everything I am experiencing and feeling.

Your words and descriptions are beautiful. Time is a miracle, as is life, and I agree with you that it is eternal. I think it was or is created for us, but there is a dimension of it that is all encompassing. You are a thinker. I like thinkers. Yes, I need to slow down too, from the pain that is chasing me. Because I can’t bring back time. I think that is why I wrote this. Sometimes images and words just come to me. You remind me to love life. I really appreciate your feedback. I think most here on bubble have felt the demons chasing us many times. I really try to embrace my emotions as I find they lead me back to things from the past that I have stored. The more I cleanse my past confusion the less I seem to draw new pain.

I do try to be a deep thinker. Many of my friends seem to think this to be boring. However in my opinion deep thinking seems to open up so much more understanding and freedom and passion.

Re time I suppose if it is eternal then we really can slow down and be much more gentle on ourselves.

Yes, this is true. But it will never be the same as actually going back and being there. Something a lot of people long for, but as far as I know, at least for humans on earth, this isn’t possible yet. But if it is a pleasant memory, I guess a dream is a nice gift of revisiting the past. Even bad dreams of the past can be uplifting if we look at them as growing experiences, where our subconscious is talking to us. Thanks for your reading, your time, and your comments.
