MA BARQUE VAGABONDE

She could not help it, she just had to go where her heart desired
Where she felt the most at ease, even if she wasn’t free
She would find a way, no matter if she was tired
She no longer wanted to be where she was denied and lied to eternally

She would forge a trail, of her own sheer freewill
By plane, by train, by bike or by foot
She’ll would get there, even if she was ill
And when she arrives, she’ll dance and she’ll hoot
She’ll stand on the corners, and sing very bad french
No inhabitant of France will be able to refute
She loves us and our country, this silly wench
