She huddled in the corner, afraid to move or make any commotion or noise whatsoever. Gurgling breathing noises were coming from the corner of the other side of the dark room. She could hear some kind of slurping noises and the rustle of movement. No, oh no. She froze like a statue, fearful of making any movement at all, lest her presence become known. Then she knew she would have to pay a terrible price to the other side of the darkened room and the creature that inhabited it. Again she heard gurgling, slobbering noises and rustling. Again she froze in fear, not even daring to breathe. She eyed the door, just a few feet from where she was, if she could just make her escape, but how? The door was open just a tiny crack allowing the bright light from the hall to shine through. Oh how she longed to be out there away from this moment of imprisoned dread.

Just as she thought that she had the chance to escape, her little boy, Keith, came bursting into the room saying, “Mommy, where are you? Were all ready to watch the movie, and there is buttered popcorn and orange pop!” Well, that was all it took to wake Justin up, so much for any hope of him going to sleep for the night. The baby in the corner had eyed his mark, his mommy, and it was movie time for him along with everyone else, he wasn’t about to go to sleep now. So she just decided to give in and let the cute little creature have his way for this for this once, he could rest on her lap and go to sleep while she watched the movie with the family.
