Comment from Alan Findlater:A beautiful mysterious figure i have spent the last fews moments just looking into her eyes, i can feel them searching my soul.
JaneAParis replied:Thank you Alan. I believe in some ways our art is alive. It is a part and an extension of ourselves. She is searching, she is searching for the whys and the hows, and art is what keeps her alive. For she is a reflection of me. Thank you for viewing, reading, and commenting. Your friend, Smiles from Jane:-)
Comment from Gregory John O:Like it. Don’t get the title, but I like it
JaneAParis replied:I have been ill for thirteen years. My illness was caused on purpose by a doctor for political reasons. I am a torture victim. They have left an ongoing infection in my body on purpose. It is a game that they play, they put you at their mercy, for you need medical care, and then they abuse you in many ways. One way is to deny you medical care. Another one of their favorite abuses is sexual abuse, comments and innuendo. They do this to you, but pretend they are not and also lie about doing it. They constantly tell you how pretty you are, while they deny you medical care and decent employment, thus trying to make your only option to be with a man who will get medical care for you, because they deny it to you on your own. If you don’t let someone ring your bell then you will be only as pretty as a cemetery bell, surrounded by death – your own impending death. Cemetery bells don’t get used that often. Many are misused and forgotten. Sometimes they are green with decay and cracked. Moss is growing on them, and bugs are crawling under them. Notice that she is green, she isn’t feeling well, she is sick and dying, and searching for the whys and hows and the meaning of it all. She has a lot in common with the cemetery bell. She is as pretty as a cemetery bell. Which means she might not be so pretty anymore because she is “sick and dying.” I am a little tired right now, so I hope I explained that well enough, thanks for liking it and giving me a chance to explain. Smiles from Jane:-)
Comment from Zolton:Very well done image. The colors are perfect.
JaneAParis replied:Thank you for your compliments Zolton. Have a wonderful day. Smiles from Jane:-)
Comment from Estelle O’Brien:Very creative work Jane….as an image of yourself she tells a story of survival. Her eyes are searching and she is enclosed in a cocoon around her head…but still she looks out with intent determination. Good colour combinations too…hugs from Estelle xx
JaneAParis replied:Thank you for the compliments Estelle. It was actually a white fur hat that I had in France, but I like your interpretation too of a cocoon surrounding her head. I really appreciate you taking the time to view, read, and comment, and your kind words. I hope you have a wonderful day. Smiles from Jane:-)
