An antique Camewell fire alarm panel (silent for many years now, hence the title) once used in Reno, NV. Shot in a fire dept. museum there. The musuem was torn down (along with the fire station that housed it) to make way for a baseball stadium.

Awesome….Love to see more pics of this.

  • Thanks.

I have more, but won’t be taking anymore since this alarm panel is in a storage crate now, thanks to the fact that the Reno City Council decided that having a baseball stadium downtown was more important that having a fire station downtown (“who needs to keep people in high rise hotels safe, when we could have BASEBALL!”).

I like baseball as much as the next guy, btw, it’s just a priority thing if you ask me…

Anyway I’m really glad I did the shoots now, I didn’t know at the time that there wouldn’t be another chance. I have more shots of the panel, and do plan on getting them posted, I just have to decide which ones, finish post production fine tuning, etc.

Not enough hours in the day sometimes…. ;-)
