I actually ran into one of the Blue Angels the next day (my son’s favorite, it’s a toy F-18 he’s holding in the shot) and told him I had some bad news / a message for his commander: My son had informed me that those were HIS F-18’s, and he was going to be flying them from now on. He laughed, and said that was the kind of go-getter they were looking for and he looked forward to seeing his application some day…

My kid… she’s a girl… she wants to grow up and fly a plane or helicopters for a living.. or be a train engineer.
She has books on all kinds of planes from US to European, Japanese, etc. We help her build models and she hangs them in her room. That is her Ultimate dream in life… she’s 6 … haha. Beleive me I understand the fascination with planes.

Oh… I forgot… a firefighter pilot… that what it is.
She’s know since she was about 4 yrs. old, b/c that when she discovered you could combine the both. anyways…thanks for just a glimpse.
