“Tired of waiting to be rescued this princess decides to take matters into her own hands. She will never again be a damsel in distress.” I’ve had the idea for a while and have started a series of illustrations depicting fairy tale and video game characters in a different light. Often times our perception of these characters is built on certain archetypes that have been dominant in books, movies, and games. My goal is to challenge those stereotypes.
