This won the In Memory Of Challenge in the Everything Ends group 10/15/2011.
Always will be my favorite driver. I shot this in a studio at school in 2007. This is a film shot. I used my canon rebel EOS K2 and used 100 speed fujifilm.
I love to capture photos of everything. My favorite things to take photos of are nature, fall, and big cats. I hope one day big cats can be free to roam again. They deserve to be free like us.

I am a straight track guy,love my drag racing. I say wow, what an amazing tribute to a true all american hero and Icon…gone but never EVER will he be forgotten. Your tibute dang near brought tears to my eyes…My hats off to you well done my friend.
Thank my racing brother. Nascar lost it’s spirit when he died. That was a great race until the end. At least he died doing what he loved. I can’t believe next year will be 10 years that he died already! I really appreciate that coming from you, love your work, by the way. I love straight track racing just as much as Nascar. My favorite funny car driver is Don “the Snake” Prudomme and top tuel would have to be Don Garlits. I am old school!!! I also like John Force too, even if he drives a ford..lol. IThat car is a 1/18 scale car that I have. I have so many of his cars and stuff. I hope when my time comes, I get to go out doing what I love like Dale did. I really appreciate it Steph..☺. P.S. I love southern rock too..ha ha.

A fabulous tribute !! He was my favorite too.I grew up with cars & loved racing too. I saw Big Daddy Don Garlits & Shirley Muldowney race at Marian Speedway, in South Dakota years ago. I still love the muscle cars & racing. I don’t think you ever loss the feel once it has you. I drove in some powder puff races at the track in Aberdeen, SD.
I grew around racing too. My dad raced a ‘68 camaro in pro stock. I saw Big daddy and Shirley race too. We would go to a lot of the tracks in Indiana and Michigan, where my dad would race. Boy, do I miss those days..ha ha. That is cool that you drove some races. I hope to someday..it is so damn expensive nowadays..geesshh!!!
Nascar hasn’t been the same since Dale died. A piece of it died with him. It is pretty much a joke now..about the only races worth watching are Talladega and Daytona. It seems like the other races are so boring..Nascar has messed with too many things.. they need to get back to the roots..that car that had that stupid wing on it looked so stupid..gee I wonder why to it back off..ha ha.
