Phil, Jamie and I became cyberfriends not long after I joined RB, and I have been totally encouraged by her supportive comments. She is a wonderful human and obviously has the most wonderful son in the world. I know you are conveying all of our thoughts and well wishes to her daily. Bless you for that.

As far as her not remembering the accident, it is not uncommon to lose a big chunk of memory from shortly before thru the immediate aftermath of such a trauma, which is probably a good thing. As for you, dear Phil, you seem to have a vivid, technicolor recollection of it, in slo-mo with sound effects and everything. PLEASE do not distress yourself by replaying this event … doing so will not change anything and can only bring you down. You must reserve your strength to hold your mom in your heart, as she is in all of ours. Be strong.
