Under the Bridge
High Dam access area in the Lake District National Park..just off the main track there is a small bridge made of stones and covered in earth to make it look natural….that is it just above this small waterfall. Usually there is not much water here, but we’ve had a lot of rain lately…

Good that you pointed out the location of the wee bridge. What a fine job of making it look natural. Love the tendrils & green mosses, & then there’s the fall itself – must be sacred to the local herds & pixies: fresh milk with a little chocolate milk thrown in for good measure. An altogether appealing view.

Small waterfall, but it conveys a lot of power. The water came out excellent, and the composition with the green moss around it gives a mystical feel.
