Allt Coire Mhic Fhearchair & Ruadh-stac Mor
The waterfall at the head of “Allt Coire Mhic Fhearchair” (Gaelic for the “Stream of the Corrie of the son of Farqhuar”)
with Ruadh-stac Mor, (1010 metres) the highest peak of the Beinn Eighe group in the Torridon mountains of NW Scotland.
It looks so gentle, but is not as easy as it seems.I think this is my favourite walk in Scotland.
Sony Alpha 350 DSLR HDR 3 shots autobracketed and tonemapped in Photomatix.18-70 lens

No, NOT a gentle walk at all ! Very rocky path from Glen Torridon. I once walked it from the Inveralligin road, a daft idea, VERY long and arduous. I have always had trouble with my ‘brain’ LOL ! Doh !!
Great image, nice blur.
JamieGreen replied
I bet you got some good pics though….thanks Barbara

Actually, none, it was a dead flat day, drizzly and cold. Early Summer of course !

Naturally!
