Soaring
A Spotted Harrier soars over the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland, Australia. These birds are Australia’s most colourful bird of prey and are widely distributed but relatively uncommon.
Most often found in arid and semi arid county, I was exceptionally fortunate to spot a pair hunting over the highly fertile and lush tropical landscape near Yungaburra.
