I see you are yet another to jump on the Scribbler bandwagon, but fair play to you, you have used lots of skill and imagination and this is really good. I’m looking forward to seeing you do some more drawings and pantings though.

  • thanks!!!

Oops – stop that weird panting at once – I meant to type “paintings” :)

  • oh, i get the panting bit… sometimes I wish I could get excited enough to actually ‘pant’ after some thing… but no… everything in it right and perfect time…AND how do I know that end of the day everything was ‘right and perfect’… Cause that’s now done… and everything ‘in my past’ IS… as well as right and perfect… cause there no way to change it now… only accept or suffer with regret. I DON’T DO SUFFERING very WELL anymore!!!
As to new art… well lots of thoughts and ideas… but this RB activity-feed is really my addiction!
    and yer part a dat!

Have you tried putting one of your pictures onto the activity feed to attract attention? I tried it only once as an experiment, but certainly won’t make a habit of it :)

  • sometimes when preparing a piece I think about how it’ll show up on the ‘feed’… more often if entering a group’s avatar challenge… I’ve had two images of mine be group’s avatars for over a year. I still have two more images being used for groups that have been months now. I like seeing my stuff when I scroll down the groups.
This particular bit of art above I kept square for the very reason of how it would show up… it’s on the recommend pixel size for a RB card to avoid cropping issues, but the image is sized for the ‘feed’ or an avatar. Good hosts learn what makes a strong group avatar… they’ve told me that’s why they picked the images from me that they did.

You didn’t ask me how to make your work appear briefly on the constantly-changing horizontal feed at the top of the page, so I assume you know already :) It’s sort of like cheating, so I only tried it once as an experiment and won’t do it again.

I had to stop selling my most popular picture because it wasn’t the right format (I did it before joining Redbubble) and Redbubble cut a bit off when they printed it and a customer complained (not to me). I suppose I could alter that by putting a border on it maybe. Congrats for having your work used as avatars.

  • NOW, I don’t know how to git me images up above… how ya do it… cuz I don’t mind cheeting! ;-)
Now fer you I can tell you how I load RB cards that don’t get cropped… or art cropped that is… wanna know???

an thanks fer leaving the comment etc. etc.
