Squares and Circles Doodle lessons

Artist's Description

Here is today’s doodle, drawn by pen in my Canson 5×8″ sketchbook and colors added in PSE.

I started this inspired by a challenge for Squares and Circle patterns… and ended up again learning some basic lessons about my hand drawing. When I draw with pen and ink I refuse to attempt to correct any perceived errors I make along the way… AND I always make some lines I consider errors! YET, these divergent lines seem to me to make the work better art in some undefinable way. They become the determination factor as to where the final drawing ends up… not necessarily my originating intention.
It is these error factors I end up appreciating the most… if you’ve read this far… go ahead and look at this doodle again… I’ve actually accentuated the errors for you…;-)))
